Be A Local Hero
This summer you have the opportunity to help in the efforts of saving the world and on getting yourself and your family healthy too at the same time. “Be A Local Hero” is a multi-effort campaign that not only helps the local farmers of our area but also tries to do this with the idea that with more consumption of local goods there is less usage of gas for transporting of goods from out of state.
I found this awesome site that not only shows you farmers markets in your areas but it also shows you were certain goods are sold. It even goes further by showing you recipes of products you wouldn’t normally try for fear of not knowing what to do with them.

Well, I must say that my favorite Ben and Jerry’s ice cream treat is Cherry Garcia. Those chunks of frozen cherries with chunks of chocolate…mmmmm…heavenly! Anyway, enough about my love of Cherry Garcia.
