Harlequin's Song 2
Harlequin’s Song 2 a new photo/graphic novel
by Logan Grendel is now in production.
This quote from the website clearly illustrates the new graphic novels of the 21st century:
“This first of a kind ‘photo/graphic novel’ is a synthesis on all levels, combining the visual texture and narrative flow of a comic, real people and places in New York City and a post-catastrophic view of the future based on real events. Drawing inspiration from films which fuse captured image and digital (or analog) enhancement, it brings a similar idea to a still format.”

Ben & Jerry's Free Cone Day!

Well, I must say that my favorite Ben and Jerry’s ice cream treat is Cherry Garcia. Those chunks of frozen cherries with chunks of chocolate…mmmmm…heavenly! Anyway, enough about my love of Cherry Garcia.
If you have a favorite or are feeling more on the risky side…go to any Ben and Jerry’s ice cream shop for a free cone! Yes, you did hear me right…freeee!
Free Cone Day (which should be a national holiday if you ask me) will be held at all Ben and Jerry’s shops for one day only – April 29, 2008. Check the link to see if there is one near you – Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Shop finder.
To find out more about the wonderful day check out their website – Ben and Jerry’s.
If you would like to do a little research to see what flavors they’ve cooked up, go to new flavors.
Northamptonist's geo/audio project
Northamptonist is an excellent, often updated blog about local issues ranging from politics to street art in the town of Northampton.

They are currently engaged in a fascinating project called the Community Audio Recording Project, in which those wishing to participate may call a telephone number and leave a message up to two minutes in length. The audio file is then geotagged and linked to on a Google Map.
This art-project-meets-documentary-meets-geocaching is right up my alley.
Need Some Wrapping Pointers?
WikiHow has a great guide that reveals that the secrets to wrapping gifts are patience and delicacy. Two skills that, hopefully, will carry over to others areas of our lives once we learn to apply them for gift-wrapping. This guide has some great pointers about how to wrap presents for our special someone, so they don’t come out looking like this. You can check out the guide here: How to Wrap A Present. Please let us know in the comments section if you have any tips to add to this guide.
