There are a lot of forums out there with strongly vocal members, but there are few available for professionals to connect and share ideas and advice with one another. There aren’t many members yet, as the site hasn’t been launched yet, so business owners have an opportunity to stand out as early adopters of this exciting new forum.

Northamptonist's geo/audio project
Northamptonist is an excellent, often updated blog about local issues ranging from politics to street art in the town of Northampton.

They are currently engaged in a fascinating project called the Community Audio Recording Project, in which those wishing to participate may call a telephone number and leave a message up to two minutes in length. The audio file is then geotagged and linked to on a Google Map.
This art-project-meets-documentary-meets-geocaching is right up my alley.
