It’s no wonder the game has become so popular, though. Minecraft has broad appeal, tapping in to the player’s imagination and creativity while still presenting challenges. It lets you build pretty much anything you want in a randomly generated world during the day, and then forces you to defend yourself from zombies, skeletons, giant spiders, and the explosive creepers at night. Exploration! Adventure! Building huge, impossible structures! What isn’t to love?
