On September 12th some of our fantastic clients, the Snapple Tri-Team, participated in The Nation’s Triathlon.  The race runs through Washington, D.C. and is focused on raising money and awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  This year’s race was notable on a grand scale for the sheer number of participants, almost 7,000 people registered, and it could gain recognition in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest race of its kind in the country.

But that wasn’t the big news for the Snapple Tri-Team, all of their five competing athletes did spectacularly!  Robert Wade took 1st, winning the race with a time of 1:57:13.  Hillary Cairns came in 3rd for the women with a 2:12:39 time.  Dirk de Heer came in 7th and Ted Waugh and Chip Berry placed 4th and 3rd in their division of 500 people.

We here at Skytemple want to say congratulations to all involved, and we look forward to seeing more amazing races!
