The web has become part of the popular culture and with it a new type of sense of humor emerged. Memes are pieces of information, pictures, videos or actions considered funny and repeated over and over again like any good joke should be repeated. What make memes different from viral videos or images is that the repetition of the core concept is accompanied with creative variations. So, for example, the image of a cute dog against a rainbow background giving you some piece of advice will be repeated and altered by adding ironic advice or changing the image of the dog with a wolf.
