Workspace Design That’s So Smart, It Just “Gets” You

It’s rare for a place of work to be particularly inspiring.

What psychological magic is at work for the Mindvalley Malaysia workspace to be so inspiring? Turns out: quite a lot.

It’s okay to be extraordinary, from the very start.

That’s the message in the lobby, when you come face-to-face with an almost-lifesize statue of Wonder Woman. And you’ll find her bold Amazonian likeness in a few key spots throughout, as the unofficial mascot of Mindvalley. Her bold likeness is a lovely reminder to the mostly-female team: we strive to be our extraordinary selves.

Isn’t that truly… super?

The Hall Of Awesomeness inspires collaboration.

The stage is set for innovation, since this space holds regular talks and events of inspiring thought leaders.

With colorful beanbags throughout the room, there is free reign to congregate in a natural way when it’s time to discuss inspiring ideas.

And, c’mon: “Hall Of Awesomeness”? The very name excites visions of whimsical breakthrough.

We’re eager to jump in to discuss wild ideas, just thinkin’ about it.

Challenge your comfort zone at just the right velocity.

Introvert? That’s cool. They’ve accounted for a great range of comfort zones in their layout.

Throughout the design of Mindvalley workspace is the notion that you can position yourself according to your inclination, and there is ample opportunity to cross paths, discuss ideas, and inspire breakthroughs.

It’s clear that this workspace is designed to unlock the extraordinary.

The mission of Mindvalley is apparent in its design. It’s recognised as WorldBlu’s Most Democratic Workplaces from 2008 onwards, and celebrates the idea that every person has tremendous potential waiting to be unlocked.

The Mindvalley mission statement: “We believe that extraordinary is an aspiration instilled within each and every one of us. We just need to be encouraged to unleash that potential, so we can eliminate limiting beliefs that are hindering us from pursuing our dreams and adopt a powerful mindset that unlocks a life that we are truly capable of living.”
